We woke up to hear of the terrible plane tragedy where Poland lost 93 people who also happen to be the leaders of the country. It was followed by a week of mourning and funerals and sadness. Tom went to Krakow in anticipation of a presidential visit and to man the consulate there while the Polish President's funeral was held and where he would be buried in Wawel Castle. It was a very sad time in Polish history and for all of our Polish friends.
