Well, it has been a long time since I added to our blog, so I guess I better try to get caught up before we move to the next post! Following the new year, the next thing we did was suffer through a very long and dark winter. The first snow fell in October and there was a permanent layer of snow on the ground from December to the beginning of March. Luckily several people had warned us to plan a February trip to make it through the last part of the dreary times...and it was good we heeded the message! We planned a week's vacation in Hergada, Egypt at a great resort called Jungle Aqua park. We went with a Polish tour group and had a blast. It was all inclusive and we found that with 2 children that is not all that it is cracked up to be. We loved the pool and the ginormous slides and the beautiful grounds. Noah and Tom went snorkeling in the Red Sea one day and we took a road trip to Luxor to see all the ruins. We also took some time to head into town and see what real life looked like. One of our favorite parts of the trip was our Bedouin Adventure tour where we got to ride 4 wheelers, dune buggies, camels, horses and a jeep out to a bedouin village. What a fun day and we even got head scarves for souvenirs! Here are the pics
